This Software Management System (SMS) was built to streamline the company's burdensome, siloed, and often antiquated paperwork processes. The company decided it was time to re-imagine and expand the features of the product to attract a new target market. The executive team realized the impact user experience (UX) would play in adopting new features so from the beginning UX was at the heart of all feature planning and development.
Because the upgraded platform would need to undergo a series of phased releases we built for immediate need while simultaneously building out new features and planning engineering release schedules to match.
